Hawzah News Agency - (Mashhad - Iran) - Astan Quds Razavi has announced the intensification of sanitary measures in the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) during the mourning programs of the last ten days of the month of Safar.

Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, the AQR chief custodian, in a consultative meeting of Safar, which was held in the presence of Leader’s representative in Khorasan Razavi province as well as city and provincial managers said, “Every year in the last ten days of Safar, we host a significant number of lovers of the Infallible Imams (AS) in Mashhad, yet this year the coronavirus has imposed exceptional conditions on us.”

Referring to the closure of porticos of the holy shrine, he pointed out that AQR has been receptive to the coronavirus headquarters according to the Leader’s order and has announced its full readiness to reopen the porticos, fully observing health protocols.
